Its not for everyone but if you can appreciate it and neglect its many flaws including dated animation, stereotypical characterization, racism, sexism, bad jokes, and animation errors its an amazing show and undeniably a cartoon classic. Overall this is an unforgettable piece of television history and is somehow the most nostalgic show I have ever seen despite me not growing up when it was airing. However the rest of the villains are pretty great too and taste tends to vary with fans of the original series. Scooby-Doo, Where Are You is an American animated mystery comedy television. Yeah there is a lot and season one only had seventeen episodes and only two villains were terrible those being the Ape Man and Native American Witch Doctor.
The standout villains for me are in no particular order Space Kook, Captain Cutler, Elias Kingston, The Phantom Shadows, Charlie the Robot and The Witch and Zombie. Currently you are able to watch Scooby-Doo, Where Are You streaming on Boomerang Amazon Channel, HBO Max, Boomerang or for free with ads on Tubi TV. Not even season which came close but had some key differences. Despite there being no real character development or over arching plot its a fun show with this strong eerie yet fun and vintage atmosphere that no follow up Scooby Doo season let alone show was able to fully capture.
This show wasn't a part of my childhood until later on but even now as a sixteen year old I love this show and its classic feel, soundtrack, and creative villains. A series I find myself rewatching again and again at least twice a year and always when I'm sick.
